      The rules of the board

      1. Selling bees? Rules are set by each state. Many require beekeepers to register and require an inspection certificate or permit before queens, packages, nucs or colonies are sold or moved into the state: check with your state apiarist first. Source
      2. Do not offer bees from a colony you suspect of American foulbrood: contact your state apiary inspection service first. The Apiary Inspectors of America list every state’s service. Source
      3. One ad per lot, with a price or “to discuss.” Vague ads, duplicates and ads that only point to a store are turned down.
      4. Every ad is reviewed before it goes live, then expires after 60 days. You can take it down sooner with the link you get when you post it.
