- Selling bees? Register your apiaries on BeeBase, and only sell healthy colonies: stocks suspected of a notifiable pest or disease must not be moved or sold until a bee inspector has seen them. Source
- American and European foulbrood are notifiable in the UK: if you suspect either, contact the National Bee Unit (or the bee inspectors in Scotland) straight away. Source
- One ad per lot, with a price or “to discuss”. Vague ads, duplicates and ads that only point to a shop are turned down.
- Every ad is read before it goes live, then disappears after 60 days. You can take it down sooner with the link you are given when you post it.
