    The rules of the board
    1. Selling bees? Register your apiaries on BeeBase, and only sell healthy colonies: stocks suspected of a notifiable pest or disease must not be moved or sold until a bee inspector has seen them.
    2. American and European foulbrood are notifiable in the UK: if you suspect either, contact the National Bee Unit (or the bee inspectors in Scotland) straight away.
    3. One ad per lot, with a price or “to discuss”. Vague ads, duplicates and ads that only point to a shop are turned down.
    4. Every ad is read before it goes live, then disappears after 60 days. You can take it down sooner with the link you are given when you post it.
